Got to Love Colorado!

It’s early summer in Colorado and mud season’s over. It’s time to hit the mountains and that’s just what Sue and I and Bandit did with our good friends Kenny and Kyle who were visiting from Illinois.

Nothing like the 5 mile Chavez and Beaver Brook loop at Genesee where you descend over 1,100 feet down to the brook and then climb back out, and having a great discussion about Kyle’s take on ANGELS and BANDITS along the way! I think our Border Collie Bandit (what else would he be named?) enjoyed the hike the most, as he took quick dips in the many natural pools along the way!

But not all vestiges of winter are gone in Colorado. Our beloved Avalanche are skating for the Stanley Cup and we get to cool off from our 90 plus degree days in Ball Arena watching them beat Tampa Bay!

A trip to the Mountains and a trip to the Cup! What’s not to love about Colorado?
